Notes
- The walking speed field notes the H2 is a deliberate step down from the H1's top speed in exchange for dexterity: 'the H1 was celebrated for its record-breaking speed of 3.3 m/s, the H2 is rated for under 2 m/s' (Humanoids Daily, 2025-10-20). We recorded the H1's superseded top speed as the H2 value here is only bounded ('under 2 m/s'); treat 7.2 km/h (2 m/s) as an upper bound, not a measured figure.
- The task brief asked to pick H1 or H2 and name the other: H2 (announced 2025-10-20) is Unitree's direct successor to the H1 (announced 2019), replacing its 'R-A-F' hip layout with 'F-A-R' and adding a 3-DOF waist and up to three Jetson Orin NX modules. H1 itself remains for sale separately and is not covered by this file.
- Unitree's own shop page does not state battery runtime or payload; both are omitted rather than sourced from secondary aggregators (RoboZaps, Humanoid.guide) that were not independently verified against a primary page during this build.
- No named-customer delivery evidence was found; delivery.status stays 'claimed' (store listing only, no unboxing/serial/customs record located).
- Capabilities research (2026-09-20): Unitree's own 'daily training video' releases show the H2 doing flying kicks, backflips, sandbag strikes and a boxing spar with a G1 (Interesting Engineering, 2025-12/2026-01 coverage), but none of these map cleanly onto this dataset's fixed capability ids (no 'acrobatics'/'combat' id exists, and a single flip or kick is not the sustained aerial-phase gait the 'run' id requires). None of the coverage states who or what controlled the robot during these clips -- Interesting Engineering instead describes teleoperation as a general 'transitional technology' for Unitree's humanoids without confirming it for this footage -- so per the schema's silence rule any such entry would have to be 'unknown' autonomy anyway. No hand DOF, tactile-skin, depth-camera or onboard-compute figure could be traced to a primary Unitree page (shop.unitree.com/products/unitree-h2 does not list them; unitree.com/h2 404s); secondary aggregator figures (e.g. Sharpa Wave 22-DOF hands cited by RoboZaps/Humanoid.guide) were not added for the same reason battery/payload were omitted above. capabilities left empty for this build.
- locomotion left out (2026-09-21): searched the manufacturer's own product/press page and its main launch coverage (The Robot Report / IEEE Spectrum / named outlet where applicable) for a literal quote naming the propulsion ("bipedal", "legs", "walks", "wheeled base", etc.); none of the pages fetched in this pass contained a checkable sentence naming it specifically for H2 -- most pages describe height/DOF/speed without ever stating the locomotion type in words. Left out rather than inferred from photos or category. Revisit with a source that states it directly.
